FIRST TIME USE
Insert Battery
Please follow the instruction of the diagram below to insert the battery correctly,
and screw back the tail cap tight.
CAUTION:
1. This product can be powered by one battery or other types of batteries of the
same size (D10- 1 AA battery , EX10- 1 CR123 battery).
2. Please be cautious to insert battery with the positive end toward LED assembly.
Misplacement of the battery polarity may cause damages to the flashlights.
3. Please DO NOT use rechargeable Li-ion batteries without Safety Circuits.
Light Activation
Put in one battery and screw back the light body tight, the light is ON. Click the tail
cap once, the light is OFF. Click the tail cap another time to ON the light again.
Brightness Choosing
When the light is ON, depress the tail cap and hold for more than 0.5 second, the
brightness performs from Max to Min or Min to Max. When certain brightness is
desired, release to stop brightness ramping and certain brightness level
memorized. If depress and hold the tail cap, the light performs brigtness ramping
reversely.
Tips: When the light is on Max or Min brightness level, you depress and hold, it
could happen sometimes that the brightness do not change. This is because the
Max or Min is the end level of certain brightness ramping. (For example, when the
light is on Max, and the brightness ramping is from Min to Max; Or, when the light is
on Min, and the brightness ramping is from Max to Min.) At this moment, users
need to release, depress and hold the tail cap another time to activate brightness
ramping.
Direct Access to Max or Min brightness
For convenient daily use, D10TM & EX10 TM provide directly access to Max or Min
brightness whenever needed.
When the light is ON, quick double-click the tail cap, the light enters Min brightness
directly.
When the light is ON, quick double-click the tail cap and hold, the light enters Max
brightness directly.
Tips: To enter Min or Max brightness when the light is OFF, users need only click
the tail cap one more time. For example, when the light is OFF, quick triple-click
the tail cap continuously, the light enters Min brightness directly. When the light is
OFF, quick triple-click the tail cap continuously and hold, the light enters Max
brightness directly.
Momentary On & Safety Lock-out
Loosen the light bezel about one circle, the light enters momentary on mode.
Under this mode, depress the tail cap to ON and release to OFF the light.
Tips:
1. When under momentary on mode, depress the tail cap and hold for more
than 0.5 second, the light enters Max brightness directly.
2. Loosen the light bezel about one circle also lock out the light and avoids
accidental activation of the light (permanent bright). If users need to carry
the light often and for long, or to put them in backpacks for transportation,
please set the light at momentary on mode.
