POLICE GEAR REVIEW

NEXTORCH P6A
The Nextorch P6A (shown above) is growing in popularity in the United States and has been a dominating presence oversees prior to making its debut in America. It has a global market base and can been seen everywhere from China as a variation of the standard issue police light, to European officers walking the beat.
We had an opportunity to test the light and it strikes a very balanced list of features. Officers will notice instantly the robust construction of the light and we dropped it several times from waist height to see if we could break the bulb. The light didn't even flinch, and performed very well for our officers who used it on patrol. The dimension's are small enough that an officer can handle the light tactically when deploying the light jointly with a firearm, yet large enough to tuck under an arm of needed on the side of the road. Here are some numbers on the light:
The light has all of the features needed to get the job done (momentary on, strobe, rear switch) and with an LED bulb and 110 lumens it is certainly a contender for one of the best values on the market at just under $100.00. The light is rechargeable, and we have been using an ASP baton holder as a holster to allow open top access.
